A very enjoyable companion guide to the series (season 1 & 2). It made me giggle in places as parts of it are written by John, with Sherlock sneaking in with his own snarky comments. True to the BBC version of the characters/series with a bit of historical background thrown in. ( )

Produced to accompany the television series starring Benedict Cumberpatch as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as Doctor John Watson. A mixture of how the original stories by Conan Doyle morphed into films and later into television and a more detailed,yet patchy outline of the latest series itself.
Good to have for someone like myself who must have everything they can lay their hands on about Holmes and Watson. Of very little practical use to anyone else I would have thought. ( )
