Good, but The Power of Now is better. ( )

Short entries and not many pages make this a good read. It expounds on The Power of Now and brings some new things to the table. Would be a good book to own so you could read it yearly. ( )

from back cover: "Eckhart Tolle is a contemporary spiritual teacher who is not aligned with any particular religion or tradition. In his writing and seminars, he conveys a simple yet profound message: there is a way out of suffering and into peace."

"The essence of Eckhart Tolle's message is easy to grasp: if we connect to the stillness within, we move beyond our active minds and emotions and discover great depths of lasting peace, contentment and serenity."

This is one of the books that began to change to my life. I recommend it to anyone open to it. It was the first book that began a change in my self. Eckhart Tolle provides a self help book without the self help. It has opened my eyes to the functions of the ego and has pulled many of my actions in my conscious mind, which is the first step in changing. It's a powerful book with principles that are so commonly over looked. ( )
