A frightening 300-year-old legend threatens to resurface when Fairy and Elf Children begin to disappear from the peaceful Kingdom of Knownotten. Loyal to the legacy of his breed, Topaz, a Yellow Conjure Cat, and the last of his kind, vows on his oath to solve this dreadful mystery. Nevertheless, growing up in such peaceful times, Topaz has a limited knowledge of just how to use his conjure power to protect himself and the kingdom against the terrible dangers he knows lie ahead. Yet he's determined to do everything possible to find the missing children and put a stop to the evil villain that seeks to control Knownotten's future. The plot is simple, with the story always having a happy ending, such as they lived happily ever after. What a charmer! A decidedly diverting novel with plenty of action and . . . laugh-out-loud reading pleasure. I highly recommend this book! Not just for the younger audience, but adults as well; and my Aunt (who is quite a few years my senior) enjoyed them as well. This book will make you wish you too could share in the fantastic world of the enchanted Topaz brings. I would give this book a ten if I could!! no reviews | add a review

He's joined by his friends who want to help him solve the mystery. Their only clues are the rumors that point to an ancient legend about the Wizard of Scarford. If the rumors are true, Topaz will be forced to confront the wizard sooner or later. Yet his conjure skills have never been tested against an enemy in battle. His old friend, Otis the Great-Horned Owl, fears for the conjure cat's life. Nevertheless, Topaz knows it's up to him to protect the kingdom and its residents from harm.
