This book is written for me: an average American with an incomplete understanding of economics. The book is broken into 3 parts. The first dealing with the environmental crisis and its effects on our economy. The second looks at the conditions of the labor market, and the third considers how deregulation and the disparities in income have led to recent economic meltdowns.

We have all heard of market "goods." Larson explains that when the real cost of producing "goods" exceeds market conditions, what we really are supporting are "bads." Of course, he explains this better than I! ( )
