This book was recommended by my Aunt's friend and bought for me as a gift by my daughter. Since I am slated to talk to a group of humanitarian-minded engineers this month, I'm glad I was able to get a better feel for what field work in the international aid community is like. It also bolstered my assurance that the new design of a water purification system that I plan to present will compare favorably with simpler approaches.
