This book is a dictionary of stitches that you are to use to make something you have designed yourself. Both knitting and crochet are covered. Many specialty topics are covered, such as decorative trims, crochet on a fork, flowers on a loom, aran knitting, and fake fur. There is a dictionary of terms in alphabetical order. Some of the photographs are in color, as are some of the patterns given in a graph for jacquard patterns. A wonderful resource for any needleworker. I highly recommend it. ( )
