Work detailsFinancial Peace Revisited by Dave Ramsey
None. Dave Ramsey has been on TV and also markets his "Financial Peace University" through churches, primarily of the evangelical type. His advice is stringent and not very sophisticated but not what I would call bad advice. A lot of people would be a lot happier if they had taken it. ( )The way to live a financially peaceful life. Have money, save money and not argue with your spouse. One of the better personal finance books I've read. Clear, easy to understand, and centered on strong values. I prefer [book:Total Money Makeover], especially if you are interested in becoming debt-free. Financial Peace goes more in depth on several topics including investing and finances for children, so it's worth reading. There wasn't as much overlap between the two books as I had feared. I'm enjoying it, but I'm not as on-fire excited as I was when I was reading the Total Money Makeover. Everybody should read this book before purchasing a car, home, or even applying for a credit card; it could save you thousands! Dave Ramsey provides personal finance and investment advice in a practical easy-to-read manner with a degree of humor. I would highly recommend this book for any person ranging from a freshman in high school to senior citizens. It is a must read. no reviews | add a review
