A collection of three stories starring Spike in the post-Buffy, mid-Angel timeline. I love the way Spike shows up in these stories -- recognizably the character I love from Buffy, in no way willing to apologize or grovel for his past actions, but a completely different man/demon now. Peter David's story is full of the humor and irony I'd expect from Peter David; the other two stories, by a different author, have less of that, but are still definitely great reads. ( )
