Body Movers was really cute! Reminded me a bit of the Stephanie Plum series. Carlotta is your average girl with above average problems. There is the romance and mystery. Cute chick lit! ( )

This bok to a while to get into. I was afraid i would never get tothe good stuff. About half way through I could not put it down. Once the characters were developed Ihad to read it to the very end. ( )

Billed as a "sexy mystery," this novel follows Atlanta sales clerk Carlotta Wren as she becomes involved in the investigation of the death of Angela Ashford, a former friend who had married Carlotta's former fiancee. Could her former lover, Peter Ashford, be guilty of murder? Most of the chapters are told from Carlotta's point of view, but some are told from the point of view of her 19-year old brother, Wesley, who's on probation for hacking into the city's computer files and who owes lots of money for gambling debts. Wesley has recently secured a job helping transport bodies to the morgue, hence the title of the novel. Carlotta, for so long without a man in her life, suddenly finds herself the center of attention, as her ex-fiancee, a police detective, and Wesley's boss all take an interest in her. Well written and enjoyable. ( )
