It was retro three decades ago, and it’s barely aged a day; a ghoulishly good time when paired with its film counterpart. ( )

A fun, campy read! If you've seen the movie, you've read the book! And vice versa!
5 short, short stories, all of them decent and creepy! All hosted by "The Creep"! 'Nuff said! ( )

King's Creepshow is cheesy, over-the-top horror if there ever was any. But that is what makes it so good. Every story in the short graphic novel is ludicrous in its own way, all narrated by a snarky ghoul named the Creep. Enjoyable and a must read for those who love classic King. ( )

Graphic novel of cheesy 80s scenarios in which the evil or greedy get their comeuppance at the hands of horrors from beyond the veil. Almost as 80s as Stranger Things. ( )

i totally get what he's doing here, that this is his homage or recreation of the ec comics he loved, and maybe if you like those, this is fine. for me, well, this is so not my thing. i hate the art - it seems repetitive and so over the top that it's boring - and i would never believe this was written by stephen king (because of the low quality) if it didn't say it was on the front. maybe if it's compared to what he is mimicking i'd feel differently, but i'm pretty sure i wouldn't like those old comics at all either. First words
Heh-heh!! Greetings, kiddies, and welcome to the first issue of Creepshow, the magazine that dares to answer the question "Who goes there?"
Quotations
You'll like the Granthams, kiddies. They're the kind of people who'd steal candy from a baby... then lace it with arsenic and feed it to the dog!
I WANT MY CAKE, YOU X@ ҉ %*! AND I'M GOING TO HAVE IT!!
You see, kiddies, Harry Wentworth has been having himself a good time with Becky Vickers... The only problem is Richard Vickers, Becky's husband, who is just a wee bit upset over this arrangement and means to see that Harry gets his comeuppance... cruel and unusual punishment for a charge of unlawful entry, you might say... heh-heh...
