The ever-provocative David Irving outdoes himself in this illuminating biography of the enigma known as Herman Goring. At once genious and master of all he surveys, at other times a drug-addicted reprobate, this is one master biography. Irving does not let us down with this hard-knuckled story. The reader also gets a reare glimpse into the touching and tragic personal life of Goring. Exrtemely well written and riveting from first page to last. ( )
