Michael Thomas Ford is one of today's best gay writers. His wit, humor and insight reflect how the normal gay male thinks, feels and relates to the world.

Ford is a very funny writer. I like to think that, if Dave Barry were gay, this is the kind of stuff he would turn out. It was also very refreshing to read a gay writer who discussed stereotypes honestly and how he didn't (or, more rarely, did) fit into them. This is one of his earlier books, and there was certainly quite a bit of variation in the quality of the stories, but I look forward to reading more of his work. ( )
