Frank is a Vietnam vet trying to get by day to day as a homeless person. Chloe is a single mother of two, abandoned by her husband, she is evicted and has to go to a shelter. She meets Frank at a soup kitchen as their lives start to change. Frank starts to improve his, while Chloe's just gets worse.
This was an interesting and captivating read. The two characters were well written and I was drawn into their stories. I think that the author really showed you what it is like to lose everything and the steps you have to take to reclaim your life. Highly recommmened. ( )
