This little comic-book style book tells the story of the bravery of the men of the 100th Infantry Battalion and the 442 Regimental Combat Team, Japanese-American men, from Hawai'i and the West Coast, who although being declared enemies, and despite having their families living in concentration camps fought for America during World War II.

This is not the world's best written book, it is disjointed, and a bit confusing. But it is a noble, and noteworthy attempt to tell a very important but mostly forgotten story.

It should be read by all Americans ( )
