Furious, the Army called upon 5,000 troops to help them catch the wily leader, who continued to elude them while torturing and killing white settlers. When courier Russell Norwood joined the hunt, the Army was desperate. It would fall to Russ, the infamous scout Tom Horn and Captain Henry Lawton to lead the treacherous trail into northern Mexico where they would either capture Geronimo, or die trying.
