This story is about a Pigeon who refuses to take a bath. He is so dirty and smelly and he believes he does not need a bath. However, in the end, he loves taking a bath and is very clean. ( )

The title sums up the story, but I think most parents recognize the behavior. I won't do something, like take a bath, until forced. Then I love it and don't want to stop. Classic and fun! ( )

So nice to see that after multiple books in the series, Willems still makes me laugh out loud and brings something fresh to these books every single time. ( )

The Pigeon Needs a Bath by Mo Willems stays true to the fun that is the Pigeon. While readers already know that the Pigeon is a stinker, now he really stinks! The reader must convince the Pigeon to take a bath and see how it turns out for him. When he is in the bathtub, pay close attention to see some familiar friends! ( )
