Micah Jones is born with a unique gift. She has the ability to see the future; an ability that has served her well until she becomes involved with an organization that wants to harness her ability to assassinate anyone who crosses them. When Micah tries to break free she becomes a wanted woman forced to remain on the run trying to stay one step ahead of an organization bent on reining her in one way or the other. Micah tries to put her past behind her including her feelings for a man she knows only as Adam. He taught her the art of controlling her powers and making love. After years on the run and believing she has successfully eluded her enemies, Micah is shocked when Adam appears without warning and requests her help finding his young son who has been kidnapped by the organization and is being held as a pawn against his father. They embark on a quest to get his son back that almost leads to their death, but in the end they secure his release and their freedom from the organization that has held them captive for years. Micah and Adam can finally live and love freely.

Micah’s Choice is a great novel with interlacing themes of paranormal abilities, suspense and contemporary romance filled with raw and primal passion. The complexity of Micah’s character makes her more three-dimensional. She is a woman governed by principle despite her entanglement in an organization that smirks at principles. Adam is beautiful and strong even with his battle scars. Micah and Adam are so well suited to each other the difference in their ages and ethnicity is not a problem for either. Adam fantasizes about Micah’s “mocha-colored skin which makes his mouth water,” while she finds herself lost in his “ocean blue eyes, and his charcoal hair, graying at the temples.” Micah’s Choice is a strong novel that delivers to the very end. It is a definite must read.
