Carried Away by Bridget Midway is the third novel in the Taken Series. Midway’s storyline is similar to that of the two other novels in the series, but each woman’s story is handled uniquely. Summer’s journey to happiness is certainly the most unusual with her interest in the BDSM lifestyle. The novel is filled with heated moments of passion but is balanced with a great story and a plot that develops and evolves as the story goes along.

Summer Carter’s friends have found love and want the same for her. They don’t know that Summer is in love with a man she met online at a BDSM personals site. While the Lifestyle is unfamiliar, it is something she’s always wanted to explore. Master Z is the perfect Dom but Summer is afraid he’ll be disappointed by her lack of experience. Master Z tries to force her hand and Summer ends their online session. A frustrated Summer decides to take the trip to Hawaii she would have went on with Master Z. Unbeknownst to Summer, Master Z is heading to Hawaii too. As just plain Xander, rather than Master Z, he plans to convince Summer he is perfect for her online and in person. There is instant chemistry and they immediately delve into Summer’s many fantasies. The time never seems to be right to reveal his true identity and when Xander does, Summer is far from pleased. She feels betrayed that Xander hid his identity. Xander has to show Summer her fears are pointless and they belong together.
