This was one pleasant ghost story. I’m still smiling from the antics of all the characters both living and dead. I found Cybil so easy to relate to and I am so jealous she got to buy and renovate that lovely house. She was such a true to life heroine dealing with her overbearing mother and clone sisters while trying to figure out her new feelings for Max. I believe she is someone I would definitely befriend. Max is just so solid, he could be any man and yet what makes him so special is that he’s the perfect man for Cybil. The fact he is so gun shy just makes him more authentic. The full cast of secondary characters are well developed and so entertaining. For all the trouble she caused her daughter, “Martha” was a hoot to read about. I don’t want to give away anything but I loved Cybil’s interactions with the ghosts as it had me giggling and sometimes laughing uncontrollably. The internal dialogue was witty and enjoyable yet a few of the comments made about a larger-sized woman came across as more mean-spirited rather than amusing. This was such a fun story and a must-read for those who fancy numerous chuckles along with their lingering kisses. This diverse author definitely earns a spot on my to be read list.
