In this one, three sisters comes together across three different books. I would like to say that, like the other trilogies, I loved all the stories, but I really felt like Born in Fire was the best, and everything thereafter was a little tepid. This is, admitedly, because my favourite of NR's 3 basic heroines in the one found in Fire, so starting there was just going to be a downhill ride for me. Regardless, I found myself finishing this set in a hurry, and it was a good read, despite the tempestuous start. :) ( )My first Nora Roberts book/series, not counting her JD Robb books, and very much one of my favorites. The sisters in these books are individual, and each is fascinating in different ways. The mother/daughter relationships -- Maggie's and Brianna's with Maeve -- add an angsty element that hooked me into the series. Since I'm not heterosexual, the only thing that would have made these books better, imo, is if the main characters were lesbian. :) 0.175 seconds to build listing no reviews | add a review
