as an adventure novel for young adults this succeeds well, and the print is set so one can easily read the words as well. the only thing )absurdly) wrong is the front cover blurb that sayhs the story is "more horrifying than ALIENS and more interesting than CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND. It doesn' come close to either of those stories. ( )

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0872165590, Paperback)

In a quiet Montana town, one dusty day is like another-until the boredom is shattered by a mysterious couple promising the answers to peoples dreams. The townspeople are more than willing to board a futuristic bus to Paradise. But the bus goes only as far as a long-abandoned ghost town. Instead of a journey to a better world, the travelers find themselves descending into hell-in the most shocking alien encounter ever imagined.
