a baby discovers many creatures and that they can always go away.

A sweet story that helps children empathize with their parents need to keep them close and children's need for independence is always a winner! The child in the story keeps trying to get uncooperative animals and objects to "wait! wait!" for her, but to no avail. In the end, she is swept up in her parent's arms. Easy language and darling pictures will delight little children. ( )
