It's too bad. Though I hadn't really warmed to Volume 1, this book really sold me on the new take. So I was all the more disappointed when the story abruptly jumped ship, leaving some threads stillborn and many others abandoned entirely! And the the zero issue return to status quo was the last straw. It's as if the series was tanking so badly that the editors panicked and wiped the slate entirely, so at least the character could be used elsewhere without baggage. ( )

Lots of flash, with not much story, in the sense of beginning, middle, and end.
If you like this sort of thing, you've got a whole lot of Firestorm characters here on view, and a whole lot of superhero cartooning. ( )
