Usagi's semi-ninja assignment is to marry and bear children to Hanzo. After meeting Hanzo, she is all for this, but Hanzo refuses. She returns to her grandfather's village where her former fiance, a man she has known since they were children together, thinks perhaps he was too hasty in rejecting their marriage the previous year.
