This book would be a hit in the classroom, I have always loved to learn more about dinosaurs and I know many kids feel the same way. I would love this read this to my classroom, show them all the pictures and tell them all the great facts about dinosaurs, then after I read, I would have them write a short story. I want them to get their creative juices flowing and to write a story about if dinosaurs were still alive today, if they never went extinct, how would our world be different, there would be no right or wrong answer.

Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0545365724, Paperback)

Favorite topics in active and interactive print and digital books, specially designed for newly confident readers.

Within the last five years, more has been discovered about dinosaurs than ever before. By commissioning brand new digital images and talking to 'in the field' paleontologists, DINOSAURS is not only up-to-date, but stunning to look at. The book is ordered chronologically and gives the best, current information about which dinosaurs lived when, and what each was like. Details of the fossil record encourages budding paleontologists to think about why we know what we know, and make discoveries for themselves. The book ends with an interview with a dinosaur expert, a look at some dino record breakers, and insight into what happened to the dinosaurs. Is it possible that we still live with dinosaurs today?
