A cute picture book showing animals "raising the high five" sign which illustrates the importance of acknowledging and greeting one another. ( )

This book does just exactly what it says it will do. It will brighten your day and let you share a laugh with your kids (or somebody else's kids, if yours aren't available). Some of the captions are funnier than others, but the photos are all great and fun to look at. This is just one of many such books by this author, and any of them would be a great addition to your child's bookshelf. ALL of them would be an even greater addition! ( )

The kids loved this book and I myself enjoyed it. Cute pictures for sure. ( )

The author has sent me a link to view the book online via the internet rather than an electronic copy to review through the library thing website "giveaway".
The pictures were excellent in quality, credit is due to whoever took them in the first place. The messages chosen for each one were reasonably appropriate for the image content. However there was a sameness or tiredness / lack of freshness /repetitious feel to this book series which is mirrored in my reviews of them. Some original thinking would not go amiss in this series of books.
The text font with each image could do with being larger as well as centered on each image and separated a tad more from each one, so as to give the overall page layout more balance and to allow children to follow each message word by word.
Time spent on the final edit and polishing would be well spent. ( )

I was fortunate enough to receive 5 of Mr Mayrose's wonderful books from the author give away portion of Library Thing. The photographs are beautiful and amusing. The messages are inspirational without being preachy. While intended for children adults could glean a lot from the books ( )
