A good story for young readers

If you like simple, action packed fantasy stories filled with dragons and magic then this series may be perfect for you. If you need a more adult storyline with more explanation and detailed plots then you may want to look elsewhere. ( )

The Chronicles of Dragon book 1 is about Nath earning his scales. In order to gain his scales he must save dragon lives. When Nath finds a dragon in trouble he kills a lot of orcs he wakes up with black scales. Then Nath travels home to tell is father, Nath's father is upset. His father is upset because no other dragon has black scales. He says that the scales are a curse for killing so many orcs. Nath's father banishes Nath from home until his scales are a different color. Now Nath must reverse the curse.
I liked the book because it had a lot of action. Like when Nath kills all the orcs. I like Nath's father's sword Fang. Fang is a magically enchanted sword which Nath's father made. I liked the book a lot and anybody who likes adventure/action books would like this book. ( )
