Bit of a romp with shout-outs to The 39 Steps (specifically Hitchcock's 1935 film version). Alan Barnes plays about with the same interwar period he did in the Eighth Doctor's heyday. Eight's the fun, Romantic Doctor and Barnes gets that better than almost anyone – it certainly raises a smile to hear this Doctor being ridiculous again after the endless gloom of his recent audio adventures.
