Great wrap up to Daphne and Joseph's story from Did You Miss Me?.

Daphne is still trying to deal with her past and how that came to a head in DYMM. She wants to get on with her life and get back to work but her boss wont let her. Instead she finds herself involved in case of Joseph's. She not only helps in the solving of the case but she also makes some decisions to finally get her on the road to healing.

This was like a really long epilogue that could have been in the back of DYMM. It was nice to see the characters again and the mystery they had to solve even though short was still heartbreaking. Looking forward to the next full lenght book Watch Your Back. ( )

Book description
After a traumatic kidnapping, Daphne’s boss insists that she take time off. But she refuses to sit on the sidelines when she meets a six-year-old girl who the police call Angel. Angel hasn’t spoken a word since they found her four days ago next to a burned-out car, frozen with shock, not far from the bodies of two adults who may or may not have been her parents. Joseph knows that helping Angel is exactly what Daphne needs right now. But when Daphne gets Angel to talk, a mysterious and chilling crime begins to unravel—one that drives Daphne into the darkest corners of her past as she and Joseph track a ruthless killer.
