This novel is from Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. It is just like the classic novel, but in a different format. A young boy named Pip becomes a young man of great expectations with the help of many interesting characters.

I can relate to this book because I remember reading it in my junior high literture class. We studied this story for weeks!

In the classroom I would have the children make their own graphic novels. I would also have the children bring in their own comic books to share with the class.
