Good

Really enjoyed Annihilate me part One, what a great start to the series. Loved the twists and turns between Alex and Jennifer, the story kept me engaged and interested throughout, I am looking forward to seeing where part two takes us, a really good start to the series. ( )

1) It's not a novel, no matter how much you say it it or market it as such.

2) Don't insult your readers by telling them, over and over and over again, obvious traits about your characters. If the writing is well done, you don't have to overstate that she's self-conscious, has morals, is beautiful, etc. Or tell me she's abused, from Maine and that he like her hair down.

Subtlety is a beautiful thing.

A light "Cinderella" story that surprisingly has some depth in the characters and plot. Would have been great to read at the beach but, is making a good plane read. Looking forward to seeing where this series goes and if Ms. Ross is able to answer some of the questions about the characters that came up during book 1. ( )
