Maggie sure goes through a lot in this book. The struggle with letting Haden go was heart wrenching. I understood that she was trying to do what was best for him but she didnt give him a say in the matter . Only one sex scene but there was lots so swoon worthy moments.
Fabulous ending. ( )

What a wonderful read! There is so much going on in Maggie's life. Maggie and her mother are 'home' in Green Falls Texas for the summer to visit family. The best part is that since arriving in Green Falls Maggie has met and fallen in love with Haden. He is a part of an up and coming band named "The Believers". They are gaining in popularity and will probably take off soon. Maggie is also getting to spend time with family for the first time in a lot of years. The down side is that Maggie's mother is very ill and has been hospitalized. Maggie learns that she has cancer and is not expected to recover. The Doctors believe that she has maybe another month to live. This is actually the reason that Maggie and her mother are there with family and not back in New Jersey.
There are several sub-plots going on at the same time. Sarah, Maggie's cousin and friend is in love with their mutual childhood friend, Huck and is trying to talk her parents into letting her go to college in the NE since that's where he will be going. A friend of Hayden's, Kyle is still hanging around and seems to stir up trouble for Maggie and Hayden.
There is a lot going on in the story, but the author has a handle on it and keeps the reader aware and very interested. Its an easy smooth read, fun, and sexy. I am so very much looking forward to reading more from this author. ( )
