3 sisters with a tragic childhood, one boy with a childhood of neglect - both taking different paths in life. Tony allows God into his life to gide him. The oldest sister Robin, allows no one into her life. And then one day everything changes.......

Sapphire Ice and Greater Than Rubies is the first part in the Jewel Trilogy by Hallee Bridgeman. It has a rocky start, but a beautiful romance slowly blossoms between Robin and new love Tony. And though this is a romance novel/novella, the pages are full of what is possible with God's love - forgiveness, redemption, healing and a new life. With Tony's love and God's guidance, Robin blossom's into the woman God meant for her to be.

Along with the beautiful story, there is a readers guide in the back full of wonderful recipes and question to use for a discussion group. You will also find ecerts from part two Emerald Fire (Robin's Sister Maxine's Story) and part three Topaz Heat (Robin's youngest Sister Sarah's Story). These excerpts will send you hunting down the books to read the full stories. ( )

Readers who love Lori Wick's unique characters will fall in love with Hallee Bridgeman's heroes as well. The first two stories in the Jewel Anthology, Sapphire Ice and the novella Greater Than Rubies are very close as one, and actually can be bought as one book. A cozy series of novels that are a delight to read and leave a joyous, happy feeling when done. The world around me seemed brighter, and the tasks before me not as dreary. The men are super sensitive to their women, and if they for some reason fail to understand them, they know just what to say and do to make things alright. Fairy tales where happily ever after is a given is always a great way to end the day.
I was sorry when the book came to an end, and am anxiously waiting till I can sit down with the next books. I would recommend this book to everyone, with a small disclaimer, especially to younger readers – not all men are this sensitive and attune to women's wants and needs.

I received this book free from the author, Hallee Bridgeman through her Hallee's Allies and Fred at The Bookclub Network for the purpose of promotion through reviewing. A positive critique was not required. The opinions stated are my own. ( )
