Like many others, I was underwhelmed by the other characters in the series, sad that it became a series at all actually, though I'm pleased that the author got ... Rosa, I couldn't agree with you more about Jeremy Danvers. And Jenson, No Humans Involved would probably still make sense (you've been introduced to many of the characters in Bitten and Stolen), but you're missing a lot by skipping the other books in the series. ... Armstrong, Jeremy is my favorite character so far in her series, but I've only read Bitten and Stolen. Do you think No Humans Involved would make sense without having read the others of the series? ... to go the syndication route, did not immediately write his 'story' (romance), and even more glad when she finally did (No Humans Involved). A quick romp through Kelley Armstrong's latest No Humans Involved yet another good readable books in her genre; then onto Lee Child's Nothing to Lose which I read for far to long last night and am about to go and finish if I can stay awake! I also finished Bill Bryson's Shakespeare: ... 29. No Humans Involved - Kelley Armstrong I read No Humans Involved, which I suppose is really urban fantasy, but has a very strong romance element. It was great. In fact, most of the stuff this author writes is great. 82. No Humans Involved by Kelley Armstrong - I liked learning more about Jaime Vegas. And, I like Armstrong's writing. I'm looking forward to her next "Women of the Otherworld" (which is out shortly in HB, but I'll be waiting for the paper).
I was hoping my ER book Double or Nothing : How ... ... as people who just happen to be weres or witches or whatever. It isn't the most important thing about them.

On the bedside table I just started No Humans Involved by Kelley Armstrong. That's not strictly a mystery. I think she's often shelved in Thrillers or even Science Fiction. But there's usually a death and ... ... man for a father, but I've been in Texas since he retired when I was in the 2nd grade.

Exit Strategy is completely different from all Kelley Armstrong's other books.. (4/5) ... to Personal Demon (no touchstone yet) coming out next Spring (another new narrator - Hope Adams, who was introduced in No Humans Involved). Apparently she's looking to do one from Savannah's point of view too, which I think will be very interesting. ... close for second place, but Eve might get a slight edge just for being such a good example of an anti-heroine. I liked No Humans Involved, but Jaime as a sympathetic figure is much less of a challenge.

I got The Harlequin in from the library today as well as Red-hot Reunion by Bella Andre. So those are next on my list. I love the ones narrated by Elena best of all, but I also adored the most recent one, No Humans involved, narrated by Jaime Vegas - I hope she gets to be the voice of another one yet! Who's everybody's favorite narrator? I'll give my thoughts later, but I haven't read Haunted or No Humans Involved yet, so I'm not really informed about all of them. ... Family on the Internet by Michael Otterson; Wizards, an anthology of magical tales by Gaiman, Colfer, and others; No Humans Involved by Kelly Armstrong; Fortress of Ice by Cherryh; Four Queens by Nancy Goldstone; Greywalker by Kat Richardson; Fortune's Fool by Lackey ... ... me. I may explore a couple of the authors when my TBR pile gets really low.
I also finished Kelley Armstrong's No Humans Involved. I found it a very quick read and quite entertaining. I did have a couple of quibbles, but I'll go into that in another review elsewhere.

No Humans Involved - Kelley Armstrong - 9/10 Just finished reading No Humans Involved and have to say it is EXCELLENT! Jaime Vegas is such a great characters and it's lovely to get things from her perspective. Can hardly wait to get my mitts on a copy of Exit Strategy... Read No Humans Involved by Kelley Armstrong practically overnight - excellent stuff!
I'll be starting on Broken Skin by Stuart MacBride next - i've been DYING to get into this one and it was just published at the start of this month. I got my copy signed by the author last weekend - ... Finished No Humans Involved this morning - what a rush! Chock full of action and still completely fresh and unexpected, despite being the 7th in the series.
Moving onto another very recent acquisition - Broken Skin, which is the third novel by Stuart MacBride and which I got autographed ... Finally able to update the first post - hurrah! I finished reading Wideacre this morning and have now started on No Humans Involved, which is the latest novel in the Women of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong and so far I'm really enjoying it. I'm a big fan of hers anyway, but this ... 28. No Humans Involved by Kelley Armstrong.
Number seven in the Women of the Otherworld series. This one centers around Jaime Vegas the Spiritualist/Necromancer. A good read. If Armstrong is true to form, the next book will feature the same main character. 49. No Humans Involved - Kelley Armstrong
The Women of the Otherworld series is peppered with supernatural species (either well researched or well imagined). Armstrong is very thorough in her construction of this world that the average human has no notion of. In this most recent addition, ... ... supernatural and canine twist.
This was a reread, in preparation for the newest one in the series that just came out No Humans Involved which I shall be starting shortly.
Shouldn't have reread it though because I have 31 books signed out of the library to read! Woe is me ;-p I bought the latest Kelley Armstrong novel, No Humans Involved in hardback today, as well as Broken Skin by Stuart MacBride, which I promptly got signed by the author, as he was visiting the store this lunchtime. he was absolutely lovely and took great delight in telling me that his ... I bought No Humans Involved in hardback today. According to Kelley's website, if you buy it in hardback before 15th may and send her the receipt along with your name and address, she'll send you a goody bag - how nice of her is that?! Don't forget Kelley Armstrong has two new books coming out very soon

I added Demon's Delight to my amazon wish list too. I'm also very interested in No Humans Involved since Jeremy has been my favorite of Kelley Armstrong's characters yet.
