Are lonely women being targeted or is a San Francisco insurance clerk the first victim of the killer. And who will be the one woman who will forgive the unforgivable. Can he be stopped.
An interesting read for most of the time. Didn't really care much for the characters of Tom Reed and Walt Sydowski though. ( )

I rarely write a negative review, but since this has at the moment three glowing ones, I'm putting my opinion in as a disclaimer. I couldn't get through it - read about 44% and gave up. The characters never came alive - to me they were all like cardboard cut-outs, with only flitting thoughts to distinguish them. The plot was implausible. But mainly the writing was so disjointed - nothing seemed to hang together. I gave up on it. ( )

Loved this book! Definitely a super suspense/thriller. The author did a wonderful job putting the reader in the heart of the plot by bringing his characters to life. The relationships between Reed, the fallen from popularity reporter, Wyatt, the unjustly disgraced detective, and Sydowski, the detective on the case of the murdered women, were realistic and in depth, as was the touch of romance between Wyatt and Olivia that gave the story added appeal.
The plot is filled with exciting turns, and keeps the reader on the edge of his seat throughout. Great read on a cold weekend!
Highly recommend. ( )
