Completely charming, beautiful drawn, and a celebration of stories within stories within stories. I think I'll be coming back to this one again and again just to stare at it and live in its gently constructed worlds for awhile. ( )

I enjoyed the gods especially. ( )

Awesome! Love the stories, love the art, love the word Britanitarka. A clever and lighthearted reimagining of pre-history and religion and all kinds of other things. There's a love story, and giants, and feats of escape and mystical occurances, all offset by the lighthearted, intensely detailed imagery.

Good stories for a winter night, when the god Birdman and his children, the ravens kid and kiddo, are getting you down. ( )

Liked this, didn't love it. The stories are interesting, but feel like they lack something. ( )
