Loading... Take the Long Way Homeby Brian Keene
None. Take The Long Way Home is a novella by horror expert Brian Keene, this is the same story that you'll find in one of his out of print collections called Unhappy Endings - but if you've not read that then read on. The story follows Steve and Charlie on their way home from work, which takes a turn for the worse when a loud trumpet blares and thousands, if not millions of people around the world disappear; causing plane and train crashes, roadways to become blocked and panic all around the world. Along the way they meet up with Frank and between then try and work out what has happened to make so many people vanish. Whilst this isn't the longest of stories it's a well paced and fun read which makes you think even when you finished the story. 3.5/5 Alright, I don't know any German, but it's Brian Keene. How can you go wrong there? I don't think that you can, even if I can't read it. no reviews | add a review Is contained in

Very good book, and while at times what is happening is broadcast very clearly, I am unsure if there is a way to discuss the beginning of the end of the world based on Biblical texts without what is happening being clear to a large portion of the readers.
An excellent, dark, sad, absorbing book. This is actually a 4.5 star book. (
