The advice is reasonable, but none of it is ground-breaking. The useful content is fairly thin and is padded out with lots of unnecessary "inspiring" examples and name-dropping about all the athletes the author has worked with.

As a non-American, I found it particularly difficult that a lot of the examples are given by invoking people and concepts from baseball, basketball and American football, making it all but incomprehensible in places. ( )
