Not much substance but I'm a fan girl.

My first fashion book, and a very easy read. It made me discover people like Jane Birkin and see the awesome youtube excerpt with Birkin in bed with Brigitte Bardot in Don Juan. True beauty. It also features great inspiration regarding choosing your style model, regarding make-up and things that you should always take with you, and I especially liked the simple idea of the navy blue sweater.
The most **shocking** part was the one about breakups; no, really, how is it possible for someone like Alexa Chung to go through, not one, but many breakups. Unbelieveable. Good advice, however. I'll never forget that the best way to get over a man is to get under another. LOL.

I picked up this book because I remember it being really popular on Tumblr a few years ago, so when I saw it at the thrift store I had to get it. I liked the idea of the book, with pictures and little blurbs of writing. However, the whole book came off really shallow, and also everything, including the pictures seemed very random. ( )
