9 of 75 for 2015. Another light and frivolous book. This mystery, set along the Sea of Cortez in a mining camp, has plenty of twists, and will keep you wondering just who the bad guy(s) is/are. Hetta Coffey has moved to Santa Rosalia to uncover what or who is responsible for the tremendous cost overruns the mining company is facing. When she learns that the minor overruns that got her the job are just the tip of the iceberg, all hell breaks loose. Will she be able to save her friends, her company, her own life? Good question, and Jinx Schwartz takes us on a merry ride, biting our nails right to the end. Definitely a fun read. ( )

Hetta Coffey is one of my favorite characters. I have about finished all of the series and hope there are others on the way. The characters are colorful and fun. The storyline original. It’s fun sailing and hanging out around Baja. ( )
