We cannot keep this book on the shelf in our library- or any Lego book for that matter, but this one, which specializes in spaceships, pirate, dragons and mythical creatures is especially popular with boys and girls. I've bought a few of them for my 5th grade son and he'll sit for hours pouring over the directions and creating a fantastic model from step by step directions in the book (now I have proof he can follow directions!) or, getting an idea from the book and then building off that idea. The illustrations provide heavy text support and a little background on how Lego came to be the conglomerate that it is today is included.
