Young Reader Reaction: "You're never too old for a Christmas book, mom!" Our daughter loves hedgehogs, and loved One Snowy Night (in her personal library), so she *had* to read it. Just as she did when she was younger, she loved rubbing her hand on Little Hedgehog's hat.

Adult Reader Reaction: Clever and refreshing. I loved that Little Hedgehog's effort wasn't perfect (but it wasn't the weather), not once, but twice. This is a story that is truly about the season, and Santa takes a back seat. Children who are sensory seekers will enjoy touching Little Hedgehog's hat and following the yarn with their fingers.

Little Hedgehog was preparing for Christmas when he heard a THUMP! He went to see what it was. Santa had left him a sleigh full of presents. Santa needed his help to him deliver all the presents and he went to grab his red hat to go deliver them. As he was delivering them his sleigh broke, his hat ripped holding the presents and everything was going wrong. Hedgehog knew he was not going to have enough time to deliver them but his friends were there to help him finish delivering them and he did. When he got home he missed his hat but he found a present under his tree. Santa had given him a brand new red hat. I love this story it was so entertaining to read and the story was very cute. ( )
