Mayhem and excitement to extreme levels - that's how I would sum up Caroline James' hilarious story. Or rather, should I say stories. Not only does James give readers much more than a glance into the life of a strong agent, she fills this novel with scrumptious stories of some remarkable characters. Sprinkle on an array of scandalous characters and you've got a spicy dish. That's exactly what Caroline James serves up. Clearly, Caroline James knows how to keep readers engaged and entertained.
Hilary Hargreaves is a sharp business woman. Hilary runs her business in an impeccable manner, expecting the same from her associates. But she's not ruthless, she is a character that I believe most will warm up to. She knows what it feels like to be taken advantage of, work hard for success, and love blindly.

Although Hilary's story is the focal point, readers learn to love and hate so many. Bob, her assistant, with his newly adapted mantras and easygoing lifestyle, is there to give his employer exactly what she needs, whether she needs it or not. He's the type of BFF that every girl needs. Fellow co-workers Heidi and Lottie are wonderful co-consprators to add. Zelda and Prunella, agency clients, that are bound to keep Hillary and her crew on their toes. And not to mention the men of "So You Think You're A Celebrity...Chef" - Long Tom, Lenny, Mickey, and others. Ranging from Hillary's potential love interests, a crook, reformed rockstar and so much more. There are laughs, scandals, ohhs and ahhs. Caroline James knows how to stir the pot. ( )
