This collection of 437 tidbits is an array of common sense truths, personal beliefs, witty insights, and intelligent advice. Many of these tidbits are simply one or two lines to reflect upon. Others are followed by an anecdote, giving us a glimpse into the author's life and showing us an example of the advice she offered.

I think this book works best if read slowly, rather than in one or two sittings. It's the kind of book you can pick up now and then, spend 10 or 15 minutes with, and maybe approach the day a little differently afterward.

Some of the entries are followed by a link to a coinciding page on the author's website. I read this book in print, so the links weren't something I followed. That aspect of the book works best for people reading in e-book format.
