The third in the series of books featuring the Alexandrian engineer Heron in an alternate history. I liked this one more than the second book, but in action, it echoed the first without moving the whole series along as much as I would like. The last hundred pages moved along at breakneck speed, keeping me up past my bedtime, which earned it another half star. Still, a satisfying read. ( ) no reviews | add a review
