Itsy Bitsy Spider (Emma Frost #1) By Willow Rose Emma Frost inherits a house from her Grandmother she barely knows. She moves with her two children into the house to start a new life. When a woman is murdered Emma digs deep to uncover the truth. The town has an air of mystery and secrets lie within. Emma is about to find out the History of the town and the house. A shocking as it may be. A faced paced original story with attention to detail and well developed characters. Told from past to present I really got the feel of what was going on. Twists, turns and surprises kept me up late at night wanting to read more. Overall I found Itsy Bitsy Spider enjoyable and feel others will as well. I recommend to Adult readers due to some graphic content. Itsy Bitsy Spider (Emma Frost #1) By Willow Rose Emma Frost inherits a house from her Grandmother she barely knows. This book is very much wtf. First of all, I loved the way it was structured. The flashbacks telling the past mixed into the story telling the present made it creepy, and had me on the edge of my seat the first the book went on.
While the mystery of who the killer was, was A suspenseful and I had no idea until the final pieces clicked together for Emma, the other twists didn't really make sense to the storyline and more felt like they were there for shock value than to add to the story in any way.
I am left with questions about characters that I don't feel like I should be as a few of the throw the reader off add ins were not followed up with or addressed by any of the remaining characters.
That being said, I am intrigued how the next mystery will go, and if they were left open for book 2 so I will probably read it just to see what happens.
I liked this book, there was just a lot of over dramatic shock value that took away from the actual already shocking enough main story.
You'll love this book if you enjoy investigative suspense with major triggers throughout. ( )
