BBBLBBBLBBL !WHOOM!...Sham...Shampoo?" "Nihao!" I picked up Ranma after being exposed to Takahashi's other works that are slightly more serious. This stuff is very silly, but amusing! no reviews | add a review

But this on the other hand was perverse, violent, absurdist, gender bending fun.
Much more to my liking.
The drawings are a bit iffy but they suffice and, in the case of Ranma's Panda form father, actually excel.
I was a little thrown off by the 'flipped' aspect of this edition (I've grown rather used to reading from right to left with manga)
I think my favorite aspect would have to be the directionally challenged and permanently embittered Ryoga. I hope to see more of him in future volumes. (
