This book probably had the most drama and heartache in the series so far. This story is about a woman who tries to distance herself from the trailer trash/bimbo stigma and the invisible nerd who grew up to be a rich and very hunky nerd. Poor Terri has all kinds of obstacles to overcome: large breasts, a fiance who couldn't deal with all the attention she was drawing, being viewed as a ditz and distancing herself from her trailer park roots. When she meets Quentin, she's surprised that he actually looks in her eyes long enough to hold a conversation, and he appears to "see" her. But then the meeting takes a nosedive when he mistakes her venting about her financial hardship for a seduction to get some money out of him. Terri has spent along time shoring up her defenses that she doesn't see the right man when he's standing in front of her. He's easy going and openly admitted to his crush on her back in high school. The two days she spends with him, intimately, burrows him a little further into her heart, until she decides she's not good enough for him. Quent was a cute and funny, and he was compassionate.

I loved that this story was about him throwing the ball in her court and seeing if she had the courage to go after what she wanted instead of him chasing her. I thought she gained quite a few character points throughout the story. His confidence bolstered hers a little and helped her along. The full circle ending was perfect for the pair of them.
