This book is a 2015 notable childrens book that begins with a stormy day in the city and lots of rain and thunder that leads to many people taking shelter in a subway. During this time they make friends and show examples of others caring for one another. When the rain is over they all come out and see a beautiful rainbow and play in the puddles. This would be a great first or second grade book to include with a poetry instruction. This book has a lot of rhythm to it as well. ( )

Great action read that takes you into the city, into the rain and makes you move throughout.
