'Still, at Your Door' is a bittersweet story of three sisters who, after years of a traumatic childhood, was
suddenly abandoned by their mother , on the porch steps of their maternal grandparent's door. This is
a tale of peer pressure callousness, dysfunctional families and overcoming trials.

I can analyze the jest of the title's relationship to the story but I would be guessing...The title's relevance
to the story is vague. The book cover is effective though and allows the reader a glimpse of the depth of
this fictional memoir.

The character development was well done and the "flow" of the story was fairly smooth. The
background scenes could have been better portrayed. However, Emma's writing style exhibits genuine

The novella was written for YA audiences, but I would never recommend it for YA. It is filled with
profanity and crudeness. I am perfectly aware that is the "norm" in today's world but those of us that are
offended by this language must not support it by purchasing the book for our YA to read.

My review rating for this book offers a Three and a Half Stars rating.
